Worship Today

This is the chapel in Santa Rosa where we worshiped today. We went there with Hilbert Schoulten. He and his wife, Mira, are the lay pastors for the Presbyterian church which includes 4 chapels in the nation. Tom checked out roof and chimney to see what repairs could be done. He also got the electric water heater going in the fellowship hall. Two of the ladies there would like him to come and work on getting them heat and fix water leaks in their homes. I guess we'll be going back there soon to see what supplies are needed and then go again to fix things. We have to go to Tucson to get supplies so it takes awhile to get things done. God has given Tom many abilities and experiences to be able to be a handy man for HIM!

Winter 2011

Greetings from Arizona,
Trying to start up this blog again for those of you who would like to see pictures and keep up with us. I'm sitting outside in the shade 'cause too hot in RV @3:30p. We have been here for a week now so we feel settled in. Enjoying seeing who shows up as neighbors. These vultures gave us the welcome wagon stare and then moved on. We also have dogs, cats, rabbits, other birds, cows and horses as well as humans some known and others just walk through "our yard" for a short cut to where-ever they are going. Pic on right shows our view from dinette. Check out the bird bath- it's the red dish on cement block. I'm so hoping birds will come and bathe there. What do ya think? Lots of birds here and it's been a very dry winter so far.
Pray that we will be able to tell about and show what the Living Water, Jesus, is here in this desert land. Blessings, Tom and Joanne

Begin final plans

Today marks the beginning of our winter adventure. Joanne's retirement party was last nite and Tom's was today so now we can focus on final arrangements for departure. Zachary is born and all in the family are well.
